Driven by a deep sense of purpose, our founder Dora Pesqueda set out on a mission. A mission to ensure that children in under-served communities throughout Arizona receive quality dental care and oral health education that they rightfully deserve. Throughout many years in the field of dentistry, Dora witnessed firsthand the unfortunate reality that many families and communities face each day. Families struggle to provide access to dental care and preventative services such as: dental screenings, cleanings, and oral health education. These unfortunate barriers included families of remote locations, limited access to a dentist, and their background and socioeconomic status. With an unwavering commitment to making a difference, Dora’s goal to bring an effective mobile dental outreach program has finally manifested. Dora's passion has allowed dental and convenience to meet families through comfort and ease of access.

TheSmileZone is a nonprofit - mobile dental outreach program that helps to support children and families with valuable dental care. We operate in a very unique way. Our team of dental professional’s work Mobily across the state of Arizona. Our vision is to support children with access to dental care in underserved communities and we do this by addressing oral health needs, education and providing dental supplies. Our hope is to bring many smiles through our dental care, partnerships, and the support or others. Access to dental care is our #1 priority. #AccessToCare

We are committed to ensuring our kids have the best dental care, right in the comfort of their schools. By packing our services in mobile units, we are not only bringing convenience to dental health but also fostering good oral habits from a young age. Our mission is to ensure every child, regardless of their location, has access to quality oral healthcare. With Smiles on Wheels, the dentist office is now just a school bell away!
